Josh Rouse at Exit/In

Exit/In is where the party will be tonight. Josh Rouse is my favorite - and arguably the cream of the crop - of the soulful singer-songwriter group. I can name only a handful of artists whose first five albums - Dressed Up Like Nebraska, Home, Under the Cold Blue Stars, 1972, and Nashville (for the uninitiated) - are as well-crafted, melodic, and memorable as Josh's. He's been a Nashville guy until recently so it's been easy to catch one of his great live shows. It's been awhile since he's been in town so Elliston's where to be tonight.

That's education I think.
